We booked a trip for June 20th to 22nd 2020 and used hotels.com....paid in full September 30th with credit card and hotels.com NOT the hotel charged us and have a confirmation number in writing....we understand the Coronavirus has caused problems but we cancelled on 4/7/2020 as we could cancel with no charge for any reason up till June...and have in writing they would cancel within 24 hours. There Is no email provided to contact them only a phone number....should we call and inquire? Is this recommended?

Good morning and immediately when I cancelled it said “ your room has been cancelled” you will get a refund within 24 hours
