Founded in 1997 in Fresno, California, it focuses on nonstop leisure routes connecting small and medium-sized cities to vacation destinations in Florida, Las Vegas, Phoenix, California, Myrtle Beach, and other markets. It is owned by Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ: ALGT), which completed its acquisition of Sun Country Airlines on May 13, 2026. The combined carrier operates roughly 195 aircraft and serves about 175 cities, with Allegiant and Sun Country continuing to operate under separate brands during a multi-year integration process.

- Click on the “Manage Trip” option.
- Enter your reservation number and the passenger’s last name.
- Select the specific flight you want to cancel.
- Click on the “Cancel” option.
- If there’s any cancellation fee, make the payment and confirm the cancellation.
- Call Allegiant’s customer service line at (702) 505-8888.
- 24-hour refund: If you cancel within 24 hours of booking and your flight is more than seven days away, Allegiant must give you a full refund. This is required by U.S. Department of Transportation rules.
- Airline-caused refunds: If Allegiant cancels your flight, significantly changes your schedule, or significantly delays your flight, you're entitled to a cash refund to your original form of payment. DOT rules effective October 28, 2024 require airlines to issue these refunds automatically.
- Cancellation voucher: If you cancel a flight more than seven days before departure, you can receive a voucher for future travel. A fee may apply.
- Trip Flex: Adding Trip Flex at booking lets you change or cancel once without fees, up to one hour before departure. Trip Flex comes with some bundles and can also be purchased separately.
