  1. Check the terms and conditions: First, read the rules for cancelling your booking on MSC Cruises’ website. Make sure you understand when you can cancel and if there are any fees.
  2. Timeframe for cancelling: The refund you get depends on when you cancel:
    • If you cancel more than 91 days before your trip, you’ll get a full refund.
    • If you cancel within 90 days of your trip, you might have to pay a fee.
  3. Call (877) 665-4655 to talk to customer service. Waiting times on the phone might vary.
  4. If you booked through a travel agent, ask them about refunds.
  5. Refund time: After you cancel, it usually takes about 30 days for MSC Cruises to process your refund from the cancellation date.

MSC Cruises provides an online chat service called MSC for Me on their smart ships. This service helps guests to stay connected, plan their cruise, and access personalized services.

MSC Cruises has a refund process that typically takes around 30 days from the cancellation date. Here’s what you need to know about their refund policy:

Cancellation deadlines:

  • For cruises lasting seven nights or more, if you cancel at least 91 days before departure, you’ll get a full refund.
  • The refund process considers factors like cruise length, time left before sailing, and booking category.
  • Cancellations for MSC Yacht Club bookings have different penalties.

When you cancel:

  • For short cruises (4 nights or less), you can get a full refund if you cancel up to 60 days before departure.
  • Up to 14-night cruises allow full refunds if canceled 90 days before departure.
  • For cruises of 15 nights or more, refunds are available until 110 days before sailing.
  • Taxes, fees, and port charges are refundable for most cancellations, except mid-cruise early departures and no-shows.

When MSC Cancels:

  • If MSC cancels the cruise, they automatically issue future cruise credits (FCCs) worth 125% of the fare.
  • Guests can opt for a full refund but need to wait for their FCCs to be issued first and then contact MSC within a specific timeframe.
  • If a cruise is canceled or shortened due to mechanical issues, passengers can expect full or partial refunds.
