$500 vs $1,200 cancellation fee per booking - an apparent bait and switch. Awaiting their written response. Stay tuned for more info. (June 16, 2020)

As indicated, stay tuned. I am awaiting the Road Scholar written explanation/proposed remediation that was requested in our telephone discussion earlier today. If their remediation is not deemed appropriate and/or they refuse to reply then action up to and including a legal class action will be considered.

Since this is not anything that you are looking for help on, I am going to close this thread. If you need us later, you can start a new thread with all the details we need to assist. However - if you wrote to them and threatened legal action - we wouldn't be able to assist at all. Once legal action is mentioned to a company, they usually will not deal with you directly and they surely won't deal with us.
