Hotels.com refund to canceled credit card

I canceled my booking for a one night stay at Radisson Hotel. I had prepaid and am to receive a full refund, however they said the refund will go back on a credit card that I had to cancel due to credit card fraud. I have tried to email Hotels.com, and reach out on Twitter and just get an auto response. I’m wondering if you can help me figure out how I will be receiving my refund as I know it will not be able to be processed.

That is not a problem as long as you still have a credit card with the company, but just a new credit card number. Same thing happened with me and I received a refund from Delta for flights.....credit showed up on our new credit card number account.

Neil is correct. You need to contact the “old” card company and they’ll send you a check if you no longer have an account with them. You need to ask- they will not put effort into contacting you.
