We had a trip to San Diego booked via hotels.com. I had a refundable reservation for the hotels, $325 paid with a gift card, $131 via credit card. I use hotels.com a lot. Normally when I cancel, I get the refund on the gift card right away, and the credit card in a few days. This time when I cancelled (on March 20, for an April 1 trip), I have not seen the refund on the credit card yet. Now their website is saying 30 days to a refund. Should I be concerned at all? It's only $131. The gift card credit came immediately after I cancelled. I could call the credit card company, but they are saying long hold times.
