50 travel twitterers you should follow

Yesterday I revealed the top 50 travel blogs of 2008. Today, it’s Twitter’s turn.

If you don’t do any microblogging, I highly recommend giving it a try. You can follow me at elliottdotorg. But before I get into this list, a word or two about my methodology. I base this on my own list of followers and Twitter Grader.

Thanks! Very nice list, although a few of these either never tweet or have not tweeted in a long time, i.e. DesertMama and HipCompass to name a few. But other than that, very nice list indeed.
I wonder if you would check out my own twitter. I’m still a travel-twitter hatchling, but I’m getting there (and could definitely use your help)

Hi, that all tips are very good and useful for a cheap travailing… Traveling during off-season or shoulder season can not only lead to cheaper flights to Europe, but fewer crowds and possibly better prices for accommodations. Many discount hotels offer even cheaper prices after November….

I think travel by a train is much better than by air because it is also fast, convenient and affordable… And i always suggest and try to join a group tours and with the help of destination guide or travel guide we can save too much cost of our travel.

    Thanks..

    Jennifer

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_RZKFHFQ5ECKHUG26YOAQZWXG6U Airasia Notme

I’d like to see an article along the lines of ‘When Travel Blogs Attack’ – where blogs like this, and our own, compete for #1 venomous site; 2012 dummy spit award, greatest expose, etc. All the airlines have so many obscure awards, so why not recognise the people who bring the airlines ‘down to earth’? Consider this one for an Asian airline AirAsia – http://www.airasiaannus.blogspot.com – we reckon’ it deserves a nomination. Of course, you also get a major nomination too. Adilah
